So instead, I leave you with words I've already written. Take from it what you will and need at this time. New Moons, and any astrological event for that matter, affects us all differently. But if you sit with the essence of the energies at play, I'm sure you'll find a relevance in your life, and a healing lesson to be taken from it. Virgo is one of the best allies for consciously working with our healing. It is within this season that we begin to prepare ourselves as we shift into the darker days of the year, a time for quiet internal reflection.
Enjoy these excerpts from my book, Journey through the Zodiac: An Artistic and Reflective Mandala Experience.
Without Virgo's attention to detail and ability to compartmentalize and organize, it would be extremely difficult to function in the human realm. At the end of the day we live in Earth, and there are certain things we have to do in order to survive on a day-to-day basis. Giving ourselves a structure and routine in our daily lives is extremely beneficial. Finishing all of the things we “have” to do in the most efficient way possible, makes it easier to go out and realized enjoy life. Like all Earth signs, Virgo helps contain and hold us together in the physical realm, giving us guidelines and rules to live by.
It's a part of our learning journey to experience the division and chaos of living in a world that seems so disconnected on the surface. There is much beauty in that. However, it's easy to get stuck in the mindset that this separation is all there is to life. That's why they self healing work is so hard - it's about looking past the veil of separation to see how all the pieces fit together. Virgo's place in the cycle prepares us for the shift in the direction we are about to make as we begin our journey back home to becoming whole. When we activate our Virgo nature within us, we walk the path of the healer and begin to mend the forgotten pieces of our soul.
Virgo bestows us with the gift of seeing the “brokenness” within all aspects of life. With that gift comes the responsibility and intention that we do the necessary work to try and put the pieces back together. Through Virgo, we come to learn that we are just one puzzle piece, intricately entangled within a greater system of nature. The healing we provide for ourselves can be a reflection of how we heal others, and nature, as a whole.
We are all a part of this intricate system of nature. We each have a place, a role to play, and a unique service to offer. We all have healing work that needs to be done.
How do you embody this healing nature? Where do you find your healing?
In what ways are you being of service to others, to Mother Earth, and to all of her inhabitants?
How do you work with all of the pieces and components of your life?
What is your routine you've created to successfully navigate your heart through this life? What does that “perfect” routine look like, if you're not there yet?
How do you take care of your physical health?
I am healing.
I am one piece of the intricate system of Nature and Mother Earth.
My duty is to give back to others and care for this planet.
I heal and tend to the health of my ever changing physical body.
I take the light from my heart and put it to work, creating a service.
I bring structure and order to my daily life and habits.
I walk the path of the healing journey, returning home to wholeness.
I am perfectly imperfect.
I am working.
New Moon Blessings.
